Opus #6 said... @ June 4, 2009 3:50 PM: Thanks for the follow. I'm following you now, too. My 10yo son was diagnosed with nonverbal learning disorder, a right-brain dysfunction. Kind of the opposite of autism. He is very verbal, but has trouble processing on the other side of his brain. We have been doing the whole IEP thing at school. I feel your pain. There is a great group here in So Cal called TASK, Team of Advocates for Special Kids. They give seminars for parents to turn us into awesome advocates. It has helped me immensely. Do you have help like that near you? Sorry so long. I am passionate about children with special needs.
